Backstage Photo Shoot

What a crazy month it's been.
We've got so many exciting things to show you, but we cant reveal them to you just yet.
Actually, I'll let you have a cheeky peek.
Here are some backstage shots from the photo-shoot for our look book and website.
It's a project we've been working on for a few weeks now with the help of graphics designer Natalie Ball.
So much time and preparation has gone into this and i'm so happy that it finally feels as though everything is coming together, it feels rude not to share it.

A HUGE thank you to our amazing models Perri and Marnie and our great photographer Peter.

Dry Spell

Having a bit of a dry spell with my design work
So I thought I'd start garment hunting for my collection.

Just to give me an idea of the kind of silhouettes I want.
These are some of my favourite looks so far,
(imagine them all bright patterned and colourful)
Let me know what you think?

Research and Development

Here are a few of my final boards for the recent Research and Development unit we have had at University. Our next unit is Production and Presentation, which is where we make our final outcomes and display them in our end of year exhibition. We have 12 or so weeks left at university, very scary but exciting.

Apologies

Can't apologise enough for our lack of absence lately.
The past few weeks have been hectic to say the least,
the good news is that we have finally finished our research and development unit.
Hopefully we will now have a steady stream of things to bombard you with :D
Here's a sneak peak of what I've been up to.

Marios: Nowhere SS/12

Love the simplicity of this collection
Originally I wanted one of my final collections for the summer to look quite similar to Marios' Landscape collection
Unfortunately I'm not that great of a photographer :)

Beautiful though.

Style Icons

Lately I've been thinking about the kind of girl I can vision wearing my collection.
I've been spent ages trawling through Tumblr, Hours researching style icons and I just could not find this dream girl that I'd conjured up in my head.
Until I came across Dani from Kastor & Pollux.
She's so f*cking cool.
I'd discovered her ages ago via another blog.
She's like 18 or something and has her own online shop which she co-owns with her best friend.
Im just loving her effortless, laid back & feminine style.
What do you think guys, Isnt she amazing?
