Backstage Photo Shoot

What a crazy month it's been.
We've got so many exciting things to show you, but we cant reveal them to you just yet.
Actually, I'll let you have a cheeky peek.
Here are some backstage shots from the photo-shoot for our look book and website.
It's a project we've been working on for a few weeks now with the help of graphics designer Natalie Ball.
So much time and preparation has gone into this and i'm so happy that it finally feels as though everything is coming together, it feels rude not to share it.

A HUGE thank you to our amazing models Perri and Marnie and our great photographer Peter.

All Guns Blazing!

Today we have gone full throttle and worked very hard to get some print designs handed in to be processed onto screens. I say worked hard, something that should of taken us an hour or 2 max took about 5 hours to do! Two highlights of the day....1 - Watching Elizabeth look like a "Bag Lady" all day, carrying everything she owned in a carrier bag.... (but still managing to lose stuff) and 2 -  getting to print MASSIVE designs using a A0 tracing paper printer! (GEEK / The simple things)

So heres a few snap shots of the day
My Studio space

Impressive tracing paper printer!

Some designs waiting to go onto screens.

Busy Bee

So this week ive been focusing on trying to finish at least one of my print collections.
Unfortunately ive had a few set backs
(Stolen phone and printer breakdown... wounded)
So ive not really got around to doing much at all.
I have however, managed to get started in the dye labs
nothing too interesting, just testing out various colours and so on
doesnt sound too glam, I know
but hopefully I might be able to wow you with my outcomes this time next week

Menswear A/W 2012

Menswear round up A/W 2012

Alexander Wang - New York
The mixture of materials and shapes and muted colour palette is really simple but looks great.

Ann Demuelemeester - Paris
Really interesting use of placement prints that are fading and the electric blue really livens up the collection.

Moschino - Milan
Clashes of colour and prints are a feast for the eyes and Shorts in A/W interesting! Plus loving the hair.

J.W. Anderson
Optical illusion prints and perforated jackets #INSPIRATION
